or three-dimensional optimisation routines. So, don't get confused while studying.
The programming language is Object Pascal, so you will need Borland's/Inprise's
Delphi (version 1
unless otherwise stated) to rebuild the binaries.

A small project intended for the installation of any simple program.
Usage or alteration is quite easy, code and settings are self-explaining.

WinPPP 3.04
The source code of WinPPP Version 3.04.
RTF-files of the help system are included.
I stripped off hopefully all the code related to the licensing procedure.
Any references to units and components exploring your PC configuration,
e.g., TUSER, TOS, or TGetRam, have still to be removed. Alternatively,
you may download these freeware components from the
DELPHI Super Page (or elsewhere).
After new compilation of the refined code you should have a license-free
version of WinPPP available.

WinPPP 3.05
This is basically an molecular viewer intended to become the basis
of version 3.1. Structure creation and quantum chemical code is
absent, but some nice graphical features have been added:
· moving and perspectivic viewing of the molecular structure,
· display of coordinate system (but incorrect orientation, see below),
· addition of ghost atoms,
· extendable list of supported PSE atoms,
· various display models: stick, ball & stick, cpk,
· colored atoms with frames and meridians,
· file history, editable import file extensions,
· import and display of ground state dipole moments (MOPAC 6, GAUSSIAN94),
· import of GAUSSIAN94 ir-frequencies in order to calculate zero-point energy,
and unit conversions.

WinPPP 3.1
Based on the newly designed WinPPP Version 3.05 structures, this is
now a 32-bit version. I guess you will need Delphi 4.0 to compile that
stuff. Compared to version 3.05 it is on an even lower stage, but some
bugfixes (e.g., orientation of the coordinate system) and code changes
(more objects!) have been made. Windows metafile support has also
been added.
